There’s a comic book version of the story that’s ten times better than the actual cartoon it could have been, I love the character of Ambrose the Robber Kitten wearing a Three Musketeers-type costume and they should make him more likeable if it was a brilliant outstanding success and make him the star of his own series to following the footsteps of Mickey, Donald, Pluto, Goofy, Chip N’ Dale, Figaro and Humphrey The Bear.

I didn’t realize ROBBER KITTEN was considered a failure. Silly me—I liked it as a kid, still like it, and apparently consider Ambrose (the kitten) more likable and sympathetic than the Disney crew itself did. All that bothers me are the human arms on Ambrose’s mom.
