We just posted Reference Pack 030 to our Members Only Page. Every other month, Animation Resources shares a new Reference Pack with its members. They consist of an e-book packed with high resolution scans and video downloads set up for still frame study. Make sure you download the Reference Packs before they’re updated. The latest Animation Reference Pack was just released and it’s jam packed with fantastic material to study and inspire you… This one is even bigger than our last one, with volume 2 of our e-book series on the Austrian caricature magazine “Die Muskete”, a classic Russian fairy tale featurette, and a series of Disney educational films from the 1950s

But that’s not all… This time we are re-running some of our hardest to find videos… incredibly rare films based on Lawson Wood’s Gran’pop Monkey and a reel of Campbells Soup commercials that includes what may be the first animated commercial aired in color!

It’s that time again! The Animation Archive has been a part of CTN-X since the very beginning, and we will be there again this year from November 21st to 24th. We will have a table in the back corner of the circus tent, so stop by and say hello. We will also be making ourselves available for portfolio reviews on Saturday and Sunday. Quite a few students took advantage of this offer, and several people contributed to our Sponsor A Student program. But all good things must come to an end.
